When life has you pinned and you don’t see a way out, you’re not alone in it. What feels impossible right now doesn’t have to stay that way. We care, and we can help.

Life can break people.
Sometimes suddenly.
Sometimes slowly.
Sometimes so quietly you don’t even realize it’s happening until you’re exhausted.

Caring Counseling Ministries exists for people who are tired of pretending they’re fine—people carrying anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship wounds, shame, or spiritual confusion and wondering if anything can really change.

We are a Christian counseling ministry, but we don’t practice religious gatekeeping. Jesus didn’t screen people before He helped them—and neither do we. People of all communities and faiths are welcome here, and so are people with no religious beliefs at all. If you’re feeling broken, weary, ashamed, hurt by church, rejected by others, disappointed in God, or unsure what you believe, you are especially welcome here. That’s because at CCM, we believe God’s love is inclusive.

Our therapists provide real, professional mental-health care grounded in evidence-based therapy and grace. We don’t offer clichés or quick fixes. We walk with you through the hard work of healing—with honesty, dignity, and hope.

Through insurance, scholarships, and low-fee options, we work to make counseling accessible to people who might otherwise go without it.

You don’t have to be “better” to come here.
You don’t have to believe the “right” things.
You just have to be human.
And from there, healing can begin.

We work with people across every stage of life—from young children to seniors. We provide individual, family, and relationship and marriage counseling for trauma, substance use, mental health conditions, and the real-life stressors people are navigating in a world that feels increasingly unmanageable.

On Christ, the solid rock we stand, all other ground is sinking sand. Now you know the secret of why we can boldly say Caring Counseling Rocks!

Don’t be afraid…

When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end – Because I am God. ~ Isaiah 43:1-3

Choosing a Therapist:

If you’re considering counseling, who you choose matters. Feeling safe with an agency and a therapist isn’t something to leave to chance. This website is designed to give people a real sense of CCM—its therapists, its approach to care, its therapy dogs, and the heart behind the work. There’s also a regularly updated blog offering honesty and perspective for people who may not be ready to reach out yet. CCM cares deeply about this community and believes God sees people, knows their names, and meets them where they are.

Dog Alert: Caring Counseling Ministries has emotional support dogs on staff. They are hypoallergenic breeds (Shih Tzu and Schnauzer) and are generally well tolerated by those with allergies. The dogs range in size from about 10 to 22 pounds, and no more than two are present at a time, usually in the main building.

Cuteness (and honesty) alert: you may be greeted by Gracie, Molly, Snickers, or Elsie. They are professional comfort-givers, enthusiastic snack stealers, and occasional lobby playtime enthusiasts. At times, they can be a little loud—especially if joy breaks out unexpectedly. Side effects may include smiling, feeling slightly better, and having your heart quietly stolen. (Yes, they have their own webpage. Of course they do.)

If you have a fear of dogs, are sensitive to noise, or would prefer limited exposure, please let our staff know when scheduling your first appointment so we can make appropriate arrangements.
